The FLI was awarded as family-friendly institute for its numerous offers and activities to improve the reconcilability of work and family life for the second time.
FLI's Equal Opportunities Officer Dr. Kerstin Wagner, Administrative Director Dr. Daniele Barthel and Head of HR Diana Kirchhof received the "Jenaer Familiensiegel" during the award ceremony at the "15th Forum Flexibel?" in Jena.
The FLI offers a wide range of measures to make it easier for FLI employees to reconcile work and family life. For example, there are flexible working time models, support for reintegration after a parental leave, places in surrounding kindergartens, a parent-child workroom, membership in regional and national dual-career networks and regular health days for the staff.
