Aging affects everyone:
Public Relations at FLI

Why do we age? How can we influence aging? And can we even slow it down? Why does the probability to get ill increase with age? The Leibniz Institute on Aging – Fritz Lipmann Institute aims at answering these or similar questions about aging. That’s why we do research, that’s why we publish our results, and that’s why we are only too happy to answer any questions you may have concerning aging or our institute.

The society’s increasingly older population is one of the major social challenges of the present. Our mission is to expand the healthy lifespan – i.e. to increase the time we can age healthier and enjoy an active lifestyle. As a member of the Leibniz Association, we are committed to inform the public about new insights in aging - because we all are aging.

That’s why we publish our research in renowned journals, regularly inform the press and public via press releases and events, provide information available for download, and give insights into the media coverage on the FLI.
