In Dialog

The FLI stands for a transparent dialogue on the subject of animal experiments. To do this, we engage in public events and communicate openly about animal experiments at the FLI.

Long Night of Sciences

Every two years, the "Long Night of Sciences" takes place in Jena. Since 2017, the FLI Animal Welfare Unit as well as the Animal Facilities have also been involved.

There were information booths with posters on animal welfare, the 3R concept, mouse and fish facility, and guided tours of the fish facility. Moreover, we offered informative games, such as an interactive construction of a mouse cage. In addition to this, there was a quiz on the topic "When is it allowed to perform animal experiments?"
