Science Pubs

Events

The March for Science 2018 will feature special science pubs from April to July. In these science pubs, questions of science should be taken from their academic context and debated together in a pleasant discussion atmosphere.

Science Pubs

Science Pubs provide interesting, exciting and controversial scientific topics in a pleasant atmosphere. Scientists present their field of expertise in an easily understandable presentation. With this format the contents and discussions come from the classical academic and clinical context outside to the citizens in Jena and surroundings.

This type of event offers a high level of interactivity. Due to the limited number of participants it creates a pleasant discussion atmosphere and a larger group of people can be addressed.

Please note that the Science Pub on May 8 will not take place! A new date will be announced as soon as possible.
