In cooperation with the International Study Center Jena and the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences (EAH), we welcomed a group of students interested in studying at the FLI today. The study center specifically helps students from abroad to prepare for studying in Germany—many of them plan to continue their education in Jena.
As part of their program, participants visit various research institutions and companies to gain insights into scientific fields of work, career prospects, and study conditions in Jena.
At the FLI, the interested students were given an overview of our research on the biology of aging and the structures of the institute. During a tour of the laboratory building, they also learned more about the building, its architecture, and the art in construction.
We were very pleased to welcome the students , and are happy to support such insights into research and study in Jena.
