Scientific Insights: Forsche Schüler Tag 2016

News

On the occasion of German-wide "Girl's and Boy's Day", 12 high school students participated in the "Forsche Schüler Tag" at the FLI.

On April 28, 2016, the FLI offered lectures, laboratory insights and a DNA game to high school students on the occasion of German-wide "Girl's and Boy's Day". As in the years before, the limited spots were fully booked. The high school students were informed about the institute and its work as well as the apprenticeships offered at the FLI. In a laboratory experiment, they had to extract the DNA of a tomato and, afterwards, could try to encode their own prenames in a DNA helix. As scientific insight, they attended a lecture on the "aging brain".
