From October 18th to 19th the III. Interdisziplinäre Kongress Junge Naturwissenschaft und Praxis "Chancen und Grenzen (in) der Medizin" (Third interdisciplinary congress Young sciences and practice: „Opportunities and boundaries in medicine”) takes place at the Charité - University Hospital Berlin.
This congress is held by the foundations Hanns Martin Schleyer-Stiftung and Heinz Nixdorf Stiftung together with the Charité - University Hospital Berlin.
In the run-up young scientist could compete for participation in this congress.
Ronny Hänold, Postdoc in the Weih laboratory, has successfully applied with his research paper "Magnetresonanz-Tomographie der Maus - Einblicke in das alternde und verletzte Gehirn" (Magnetic resonance tomography of the mouse - insights into the ageing and injured brain) and will represent FLI in the working group "Technik, Forschung, Innovation: Hightech als Heilsbringer?" (Technology, research, innovation: High-Tec as saviour?)
