Diversity Day 2019

News

Diversity is an integral part of the research and the daily life at FLI. The institute therefore took the nationwide "Diversity Day" as an opportunity to demonstrate the diversity of its employees.

This year the FLI took part in the event "diversity campus" of the university Jena. Together with other institutes of the Beutenberg Campus the FLI presented itself for the "Diversity Day" on 28 May 2019.

At the Beutenberg Campus in Jena there are nine research institutes, including institutes of the Leibniz Association, the Max Planck and Fraunhofer Society, the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, two business incubators and Wacker Biotech GmbH, all together with more than 3.000 employees of which about 25 % come from more than 80 nations. The FLI and the Beutenberg Campus both signed the "Diversity Charter".
