Wilfried Briest oversees research coordination, ensuring smooth internal and external collaborations. His tasks include managing institute-wide scientific reporting, assisting the Scientific Director, overseeing technology transfer, and coordinating cooperative efforts.
Dr. Claudia Müller - Coordinator Young Researcher Support
Claudia Müller focuses on early career development for undergraduate students and graduates, coordinates the Leibniz Graduate School on Aging (LGSA), and manages our current research information system (FACTScience). She also leads the Welcome Service for Internationals and is the contact point for EURAXESS and FLI Alumni.
Dr. Tina Netzker - Research Coordinator Grant Management
Tina Netzker manages third-party funding (advice, support) and coordinates the IMPULS research consortium and the Zentrum für Alternsforschung Jena (ZAJ). She advises researchers on funding opportunities and supports the administrative aspects of both initiatives.
Dr. Magdalena Rose - Research Coordinator Open Access & Postdoc Career Development
Magdalena Rose is FLI’s Open Access contact, helping researchers choose appropriate Open Access licenses and make secondary (Green OA) publications. She also coordinates all career development activities for postdocs at the institute.
