DFG Research Unit 5228 “Syntophagy” has been extended for a second funding period, with Prof. Dr. Janine Kirstein participating in a subproject together with the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Britta Eickholt (Charité, Berlin).
The subproject “Regulation of Neuron-Specific Activity of UPS and Autophagy during Aging,” which has been funded by the DFG since 2021, is funding a doctoral position at the FLI for four years.
