COVID-19: Minimal operation mode at FLI
Due to the existing health threat caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the Board of Directors of the Leibniz Institute on Aging – Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI) decided to reduce all activities at the institute to a minimum. The aim of this measure is to limit the spread of the corona virus and protect our staff from possible infections by this virus.
With this preventive measure, the FLI will continue to operate in a minimal operation mode from Monday, March 23, 2020, until at least April 19, 2020. The number of people present at the institute will be reduced to a minimum; this serves the protection of all employees, their families and friends.
- Only employees maintaining essential operations are still working on site. Special attention will be dedicated to ensuring wellbeing and care of our experimental animals.
- All other FLI staff will continue their work via home office.
- The institute will remain closed for external visitors.
- All meetings and events are cancelled until further notice.
We will inform about further developments here.
