On March 19, 2026, Nina Ruge, journalist, TV presenter, bestselling author, and expert on healthy longevity, will give a lecture on “Healthy Longevity: Add More Healthy Years to Your Life (Healthy Longevity. Gib deinem Leben mehr gesunde Jahre)” as part of the public lecture series “Science & Society.” All interested parties are cordially invited to attend this event.
On March 20, 2026, for the 11th time, the FLI will take part in the international stem cell day “UniStem Day.” We invite all students in Thuringia who are enthusiastic about biology to this event to discuss research on and with stem cells together with experts.
On Thursday, 26 March 2026, at 1 p.m., Dr Harald Schuhwerk from Regensburg University Hospital (Clinic and Polyclinic for Dermatology) will give a lecture on "Adaptive plasticity in cancer: Integration of DDR Rewiring, EMT Programmes, and Immune Regulation."
On April 23, 2026, “Girls' & Boys' Day” will take place in Germany, which will be held on the Beutenberg Campus in Jena as “Forsche Schüler Tag” (Research Students Day). This is a day for students to learn more about science. The FLI once again takes part in this series of events and cordially invites interested students from the 8th grade onwards to a hands-on and information day.
