Dr. Wilfried Briest, Research Coordinator, provides expert support for patent processes and invention disclosure agreements, ensuring that intellectual property is appropriately identified and protected.

Dr. Sonja C. Schätzlein, Head of CF Technology Transfer and SPARK-FLI Program Manager, oversees all technology transfer activities and manages the Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) process, serving as a central contact for project leaders and external partners.

Ass. Jur. Peter Schuhmann, supports legal matters (contracts, agreements). 

Ascenion GmbH, an independent knowledge and technology transfer company, supporting FLIs transfer efforts by: 

• recognize projects with particular potential and secure patent protection for them
• develop them further to increase marketing opportunities
• find licensing and cooperation partners, realize start-ups and bring investors on board
