Science-Supporting Staff at FLI
The scientific support staff at FLI includes specialists who are directly involved in research. These include, among others:
- Core facility managers
- Technical assistants and laboratory managers
- Technicians and research engineers
- Veterinarians and animal caretakers
- Laboratory assistants and animal care staff
- Research assistants in laboratories
As a central component of our institute, this team supports our researchers in key areas: organizing laboratories, complying with legal requirements, applying modern methods, conducting experiments, and analyzing results.
These responsible tasks require a high degree of technical expertise—continuous training and qualification are therefore a fundamental part of their work. Annual training events and retreats are planned with the representatives of the technical staff.
