Researchers' Day for preschool children

How old is the oldest person in the world? Why do we age, and what happens to our bodies as we grow older? Why do children look like their parents?

With these and many other exciting questions, preschool children explore the fascinating world of genetics and aging research through hands-on activities.

Together, we discover why people look different, how our bodies work, and how they change throughout life. Using a microscope, children can observe tiny living organisms and become young scientists themselves. At our interactive activity stations, they also experience in a playful way how our senses change with age and why seeing, hearing, smelling, and touching can become more difficult as we grow older.

Our age-appropriate program sparks curiosity, encourages exploration and discovery, and provides children with their first insights into the exciting world of science.
