Share Knowledge, Support Learning: Undergraduates at FLI

It’s of great importance to us to share our scientific knowledge with young scientists. Many members of the FLI are heavily involved in several aspects of teaching at the FSU, and most of the FLI senior group leaders have joint appointments as Professors at FSU. Thus, we can provide students of nature sciences with theoretical knowledge as well as with insides into daily laboratory life and research practice. The FLI also provides supervision for Bachelor’s and Master’s theses from different universities.

International Master Programs

Within the framework of joint international programs with partner institutions, the FLI offers research projects for master students from defined universities. After the successful completion of the major class and interim exams at their home university, students have the opportunity of a 12-months research stay abroad. Moreover, upon successful completion of their thesis, selected master students may apply for the PhD program at the end of their research visit.
